Local Transportation & Bus Schedule

Once you arrive in North Adams, most amenities are within walking distance from the museum and apartments. We have a limited number of bikes available for artists to check out (weather permitting). There is no Uber/Lyft in our area, but there are a number of taxi services (see below).

Local Bus Services:

Rte 3: North Adams - Williamstown. East-West bound to Wild Oats Co-Op, Tourists, Williams College, downtown Williamstown Williams Historical Museum. Take this bus if you’re going to the Clark (you will need to walk about 0.5 to get to the Clark from the bus stop)

Rte 34: The North Adams Loop. Takes you to the hospital and then southward toward Walmart (where you can also change buses for going down to Pittsfield)

Rte 1: Pittsfield - North Adams. From North Adams Walmart down to Pittsfield (Pittsfield has a Michaels, Home Depot, Bus Station, etc.)

Note: you can buy a Charlie card on the bus. Read more about the bus fares.

Beautiful museum of largely impressionist and post-impressionist art. After you enjoy the galleries, take a walk up the hill into the cow pastures and back into the woods! Note: Your Studios badge gets your free admission!
