NOTICE: DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS / COVID-19, ASSETS FOR ARTISTS HAS CANCELED ALL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS HAPPENING IN MARCH AND APRIL 2020. MAY 2020 WORKSHOPS MIGHT ALSO BE AFFECTED, AND WE WILL ASSESS THOSE WORKSHOPS CLOSER TO THE DATE. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, YOU CAN CONTACT US AT ASSETSFORARTISTS@MASSMOCA.ORG

Watch out, Massachusetts! Assets for Artists has a record number of FREE artist professional development workshops coming your way in spring 2020. If you're serious about strengthening your practice, learning from art business and marketing experts, connecting with fellow artists and makers, and can commute to our workshop locations, we hope you’ll apply!

Although we call it an “application,” don’t be intimidated! It only takes a couple minutes, and most applicants receive a spot in the workshop. Participation is FREE! Workshops will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: MARCH 25, 2020

The A4A program promotes equal opportunity and seeks diversity in its workshop participants.

Our Rhode Island workshops are in partnership with the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts. Our Connecticut workshops are in partnership with the Northwest Connecticut Arts Council, Southeast Connecticut Arts Council, Windham Arts, and Connecticut Office of the Arts. Our Massachusetts workshops are made possible by the Barr Foundation, the City of Boston, New England Foundation for the Arts, Massachusetts Growth Capital Corp, the Boston Cultural Council, Greenfield Community College and its Ideation Center.
