Be (p)art of North Adams.

North Adams, site of MASS MoCA, is also home to a growing & dynamic artist community, and we want to keep that momentum going strong.

This spring, we are offering a Matched Savings Grant opportunity for artists/makers currently based in North Adams and those interested in relocating to North Adams in 2019.

Check out the details below, and apply by June 17!

Matched Savings Grant Program

Our 2019 North Adams Project consists of a single opportunity for all applicants: our Matched Savings Grant Program, with some extra goodies for artists making the move to NA.

All NA Project artists selected for the 2019 program will receive the following benefits:

A “matched savings” grant that serves as working capital to be invested in the artist’s creative practice. Participants save $2,000 of their own funds and are provided with a grant of $2,000. The combined amount is used to help implement the artist’s business plan for strengthening their creative practice in North Adams.

Two free professional development workshops: a dynamic “bootcamp” on personal finance and an artist-tailored career planning workshop.

Free one-on-one coaching in the development of the artist’s business plan.

Selected "re-locator" artists (those not previously based in North Adams) will also receive:

A $500 relocation grant to help with the cost of moving to North Adams.

Free 1-year membership to MASS MoCA (individual membership level).
