Artist Impact Coalition Announces Rapid Response
Working Capital Grants

20 ARTISTS / $1,000 EACH

In response to the devastating effects of COVID-19 on the cultural sector and artists in specific, the North Adams Artist Impact Coalition announced it will award 20 grants of $1,000 to artists who live or make work in the city of North Adams, MA.

The North Adams Rapid Response Artist Working Capital Grant Program is a fast-tracked financial wellness and sustainability initiative for artists that pairs working capital mini-grants with one-on-one coaching, peer support, and online financial and business resiliency webinars specifically focused on navigating a post-COVID cultural sector landscape. Grantees will also have at their disposal the collective brain power of the Artist Impact Coalition’s founding members. Selected artists must complete a strategic plan for the funds as it relates to the business goals of their creative practice and must participate in a 1-on-1 business coaching session in order to receive their funds. If a selected artist completes these requirements in a timely manner, they can expect to receive their mini-grant funds in as little as a month from being selected into the program.

Application deadline: 11:59 PM April 27, 2020
