Thanks to funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, the North Adams Artist Impact Coalition (AIC) has subsidized two key services by artists, for artists. Receive professional support worth hundreds, for only $50.

HOW IT WORKS
Fill out this simple application to tell us a little about the marketing situation or recording project with which you’d like help. The Artist Impact Coalition will review applications on a rolling basis to prioritize subsidies where they’re most needed. The expertise you get could be valued anywhere from $100-$1,000. No matter what, all you pay is $50 total.
Because this special opportunity is the result of a generous grant, these services will only be available for a limited time (although we hope to find future funding to provide more opportunities like this in the future). Don’t delay in submitting your request!
WHO QUALIFIES
Any artist of any discipline who lives or works in North Adams, MA, and who could not otherwise afford these types of services. We will prioritize those who are less financially secure or who will benefit most from the offered services. Funds are limited and we hope to make them go as far as we can in our community!
Note: We define “works in North Adams” as someone who is an active participant in the North Adams creative community, not merely someone who has a day job in the City of Steeples.
WHAT YOU CAN GET
Digital Marketing/Branding with Francesca Olsen
Francesca Olsen is a professional writer and communications consultant who lives in Western Massachusetts. She works with clients on digital marketing, social media, brand strategy, general communications/PR needs, and content creation. She has worked with artists and creatives on marketing work, from writing bios to advertising campaign recommendations, since 2015.
Services include:
Digital Marketing Evaluations: Get a personalized evaluation of your digital marketing footprint, with recommendations, next steps, and proposed communications/advertising timelines based on your specific goals.
General Communications: Help with public relations/press management/media relations, editing, press release writing, communications timelines, audience matrices, translating web analytics, recommending next steps to increase web traffic, and more.
Content Strategy and Content Creation: Tell your story through business profiles, blog posts, brand/style guide development, content planning, and more.
Social Media Strategy: Develop a social media strategy that works for your time commitments and budget, from growing an organic following to holiday ad campaign recommendations.
Writing for the Web: Learn how to optimize your site for search results, clients, etc.
Audio Engineering/Recording with Daniel O’Connell (Quincy Street Studio)
Quincy Street Studio is a well-equipped home studio that focuses on creative solutions for your audio projects and is able to record up to 8 audio channels at a time. Daniel has worked on rock, opera, pop and jazz, in both live out-of-studio recordings and in-studio sessions. As an active musician himself, he thrives on helping artists form their musical ideas into completed works.
Services include:
Audio mixing
Recording in studio
Mobile recording (incl. drums)
Voice-over recording
Producer role on a song/songs
Arrangement on a song/songs
Write/perform/record parts for vocals, guitar, bass, keys, and drums
Audio consultation on acoustic treatment of rooms, or consultation regarding most audio needs or questions
